DET teacher Ola Okuwobi scheduled a visit to Academy Show together with the students. The Academy show will take place on 27th April at Excel, London. It is supported by the Department of Education and Education Skills Agency. The Schools & Academies Show 2022 was an exhibition and conference with Keynote speakers all over the UK on various key themes such as School Improvement Theatre, Academic Trust, Business & Finance Theatre, SEND Theatre, Educational Technology Theatre, Safeguarding & Wellbeing Theatre, Leadership and Management Theatre and Department of Education Theatre. This was a very good opportunity for the students to see the various exhibitions, on the education industry spanning teaching and learning opportunities, networking, CPD, and tutoring. There were also opportunities for students to be involved in the largest education policy event in the UK. Around 30 students attended the conference and found the conference to be very insightful and useful.
